Jewelry design contest
This is a different kind of jewelry contest. You submit the original design or symbol and, if chosen, it will be made into a 14k gold jewel. Some of the submissions are very cool and interesting! Even if you don’t submit a design, it’s worth taking a look at the submissions.
And if you have a design to submit, here’s how.
Good luck!

Thanks to Dave Shroat….
“The modern conservative is engaged in one of man’s oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.”
John Kenneth Galbraith
US (Canadian-born) administrator & economist (1908 – 2006)
“War may sometimes be a necessary evil. But no matter how necessary, it is always an evil, never a good. We will not learn how to live together in peace by killing each other’s children”. ~~ Jimmy Carter

A must-have book
Those of us who love to crochet and make jewelry should consider combining the two into one craft now and then. Here’s a great book to help us get started on our way.
Lily Chin is “the world’s fastest knitter” and has created this book to show us how to combine beads with our crochet or knitting to create jewelry masterpieces. I can’t wait to dust off my crochet hooks and get started!
