A Whole New World of Jewelry Making Options
I just ran across this book and have been hearing a lot of buzz about making jewelry with resin. I made some resin paperweights and such when I was a kid, but haven’t given it any thought since then. I Think it’s time to get re-acquainted with resin. This book has inspired me. Check it out! You might be inspired by it too.

Great Book for Beginning Jewelry Makers

Findings and Finishings (Beadwork How-To Series)
Stringing the beads for a jewelry piece is only part of the equation for making a beautiful piece. It’s also important to find just the right findings and finishings for the project to make it have that polished look when it’s finished. This book goes over the basics of choosing the findings and finishings for your next project.

A must-have book
Those of us who love to crochet and make jewelry should consider combining the two into one craft now and then. Here’s a great book to help us get started on our way.
Lily Chin is “the world’s fastest knitter” and has created this book to show us how to combine beads with our crochet or knitting to create jewelry masterpieces. I can’t wait to dust off my crochet hooks and get started!

Great Book for Beginning Beaders!
My good friend, Cindy, gave me this book for Christmas a couple of years ago. I have enjoyed it and have made several of the projects in it since then. I really want to recommend that anyone who is getting started in beading pick this book up:
Bead Fantasies: Beautiful, Easy-to-Make Jewelry
The illustrations walk the beader step-by-step through completing the projects. There are projects for necklaces, rings, bracelets…everything! These projects will make great gifts…after all, the holidays are coming up!
Pick up this book, and enjoy!!

Cece’s book
Just in case you missed my earlier post, here’s the book Cece Wire has written about PMC techniques:
Creative Metal Clay Jewelry: Techniques, Projects, Inspiration
She has another book due to be released in December that contains a lot more advanced projects and techniques. If it’s half a good as this one, or her class, it will be worth getting, for sure!
