My friend, Philissa is a terrifically talented cake decorator. In fact, she made the most fabulous wedding cake for my daughter’s wedding. Now she’s decided to venture into the world of the blogosphere.

And here’s the part of the reception that everyone loves: the cake cutting!

It was a wonderful wedding and reception (and the early reception the evening before was so moving, there were almost no dry eyes in the room.)

I took a total of 288 photos of the weekend event. You are welcome to go view them and make prints for yourself. (Here’s the link) Those of you who have PhotoShop capabilities, I have left them as hi-res photos so you can have more freedom to work with them.

Those of you who are not graphics folks, these are digital pictures than can be made into larger prints for framing too.

As I wrote a couple of posts ago, I went to Miami to attend the wedding of some good friends, Roshini & Adima.

They did a very cool thing and got married on a cruise ship. (That means that we all got on the ship to attend the wedding and reception, then we had to get off for them to go on a two-week honeymoon cruise.)

Well, it’s official.  They just officially announced the launch of my new reality TV blog called Reality Exploits!

You can go see what I’ve been doing for the last few days and I hope you’ll stop back often (or even subscribe) so you can keep up with the latest reality TV scoop.

 Now that I’m a member of the b5media family, I have picked up two other blogs that I’ll begin writing and maintaining this week (for pay, of course.) The other two are Searching Bones, about the TV show Bones

and House is Right, about the TV show House. I’m having a blast and hope you’ll stop by to check these other blogs out too! 

I just got word that I’m going to be a paid blogger for b5media.com. I’ll be covering the latest dirt about reality TV.  Anyone who knows me, knows that I’ma  self-described reality show addict. So what could be better than to blog about it for cash?

The deal is not finalized, we still have the paperwork, etc., but I’m thrilled anyway!  I’ll post here when the new blog goes live.

Today in St. Louis definitely feels like fall is here. It’s gloomy, rainy and chilly.

But the good news is that it’s the time of year when pumpkin is the flavor of the day! I was sent a link to this wonderful blog post about 30 ways to eat pumpkin. I can tell you right now that I’m planning to try several of these recipes…and soon! 

Take a look at this fabulous new idea! Who doesn’t love to play with Legos? Now we can have Legos in our drinks!  I just know my granddaughters will love playing with ice cubes made with these…. 

UPDATE!! I just went to order these and they are not available in the US! Sorry to tempt you with a fun gift idea and then not be able to get it here. I guess I’ll just have to wait until enough people in the US want them….

UPDATE ON THE UPDATE!!  Apparently, they are available in the US at this site!  Hurray!

My goofy friend, Jonathan has just announced that he’s releasing a new holiday CD. You can read more about it here.  I know I’m going to get one…so should you!
